Travel Information

Hua Hin is a popular getaway for Bangkok residence and western tourists. Hua Hin is a charming mix of city and sea with a multinational environment, lively markets, tasty food, long wide beaches and fully functional city services. Hua Hin is located about 200 kilometers south from Bangkok and became Thailand´s first beach resort after a train line was established in the 1920´s. The train line was to provide access from Bangkok and this made King Rama VII to build his summer retreat in Hua Hin.

Hua Hin has a tropical climate with temperatures that remain very warm to hot throughout the year. The year begins with the dry season (December-April), before the monsoon arrives in May. Rains ease somewhat from June to August before the heaviest rains begin in September and continue through November. The rain in Hua Hin only shows in intense and short periods, which means it will rain for a few hours, and then it will stop for the rest of the day.
